My blogs tell the story. I'm an outdoor girl who loves gardening, urban farming, growing food, photography, hiking, fabric dyeing/quilting. I read a lot and I enjoy writing (hence the blogs). Making garden art/junk. Motherhood. I go long periods of time eating a raw vegan diet for maximum health. I would live outdoors if I could. I enjoy resourcefulness, separating wants from needs, and thrift, noting that if it's good for your life and your health, it's good for the planet too. I started blogging in 1999 when blog software was painfully unreliable. I continue because I enjoy it.
