Especialista en urología por el Hospital de La Princesa de Madrid. Trabajé en el Instituto de Urología de Londres en Urología Reconstructiva. Fundador del ICUA y pionero en Madrid en la aplicación de la fotovaporización con láser KTP del crecimiento benigno prostático (HBP), la criocirugía prostática y la combinación HIFU-Láser para el tratamiento del cáncer de próstata. Compagino la actividad asistencial con la docente, formando a otros médicos en estas técnicas, tanto en España como en el extranjero. After medical school at the Universidad Complutense, I specialised as a Urological Surgeon at the Hospital de La Princesa in Madrid. I subspecialised in reconstructive urology at the Institute of Urology in London. Founder of the ICUA (Institute of Advanced Urological Surgery)and a pioneer in the application of Photoselective vaporisation of the prostate (PVP) for Benign prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), Cryosurgical ablation and the combination of laser + HIFU for prostatic cancer in my country. Currently I combine clinical work with academic and teaching activities, training other doctors in these techniques, throughout spain as well as abroad.
