About Me

I'm a communications professional with over nine years of rich experience writing and editing copy, web content, children’s stories, journalistic features, producing innovative ad campaigns, and reinforcing media relations activities, in the traditional and online media, advertising, and not-for-profit markets. Backed by a Bachelors in Environmental Science from Bangalore University, India; a certificate course in Creative Writing & New Journalism from the University of Auckland; and a Masters in Corporate Communications from APSU, and the support and encouragement of family and friends, I decided to consolidate my passion for children's literature and learning resources to found FunHonee. I'm also Thursday’s child, reader, head-hasher, dreamer, crafter, optimist, crosswordaholic, mommy, wife, daughter, sister, friend, aunt, and scores of other things rolled into one, living in Chicago. To reinforce my power as a woman, I’d like for it to be known that I can multitask fairly well (and seldom with comic results).
