| Introduction | At the age of 40 you begin to look back on your life and start to wonder what could have been different and also what is ahead. This is my dilemma of thought. At the ripe age of 36 I returned to the institution of youth - university - and began my studies toward what had been a lifelong dream of obtaining my undergraduate degree. My observations and trials are what this blog is about. Who we are is shaped and crafted by all that has happened to us and what will happen in the future is metered by how we have seen the world presented to us. Based on this Lisa is a woman who grew up within turmoil, moved and married, divorced and travelled, worked and got educated, and continues to wonder what life is all about. Today I live in a city "changing". I live with two dogs of wonderful character, but who refuse to assist me with my studying or essay writing. |
