Rachel Hurley

About Me

Rachel Hurley is a freelance music writer, production coordinator, amateur radio host, photographer and the best drinking partner you've ever had. She is the publisher of Scenestars.net and Rachelandthecity.com, and has written for Spin.com, Projectdu.com, The Commercial Appeal, Image Magazine, Breakthruradio.com and various other rags. She has worked as a music supervisor and associate producer for MTV, VH1, Disney, ESPN and RCN. She grew up in Memphis and attended the University of Memphis where she studied Philosophy, which basically means she has no tangible skill set. Therefore, she moved away to work in entertainment. After two boring winters in Nashville and five cold winters in New York City, she has returned home to Memphis where all the bartenders know her name.

Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
