Barbara Derksen

About Me

Barbara Ann Derksen has been writing seriously for the past ten years. She’s published and marketed 2500 articles, 12 children’s stories, and three books for adults; a mystery, a war story collection, and a household management guide. Currently she is working on a mystery trilogy as well as a devotional for bikers. Barbara, as a member of Christian Motorcyclists Association, has been riding on the back of a motorcycle into secular venues with her husband for six years to minister to bikers, some outlaws but mostly average everyday people who need the Lord in their lives. She attends rallies where 8-12,000 bikers show up. Her desire is to encourage more Christians who ride to step out of their comfort zone and begin to think about the Great Commission in terms of the bikers they meet as they travel from place to place.
