About Me

Founded in 2001, the Congenital Adrenal hyperplasia Research, Education and Support (CARES) Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit membership and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by the genetic disorder Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH). Our mission is to pro-actively advance research for a cure, educate the public and healthcare providers about all forms of CAH, advocate for universal newborn screening, and provide support services and resources vital to the CAH community world-wide.
