| Introduction | I reside in Sacramento, am married, enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with family. After trying for 7 years to have a child, my husband & I gave had given up on the dream of parenthood. We decided to see the world and were planning a trip to Paris, when, of course, Mother Nature decided to grant us with our little bundle of joy (a bouncing baby boy). All I can say is our lives (and my body) will never be the same. You know the old saying, "be careful what you wish for?" Well, here is the ture tale of one middle aged mama, who loves her baby more then her own life, but can't remember the last time my back didn't ache or the last time I slept through the night.. Let me be perfectly clear about one thing.. motherhood at 41 is no walk in the park. And pregnancy at 40 was the true life version of, "I've fall'n & I can't get up!" So, care to know the Truth of pregnancy (all the gory details your friends & family leave out)? Read my blog in the months to come. Of course my free time is limited these days, so my blog posts will be slow coming, but one day I intend to document the journey to my broken back. |
