| Introduction | Born and raised in Chicago, IL, graduated from Boston University way back in 1984, married and living with husband Ken, son Dean (13), in Massachusetts. An arts and crafts person (sewing and quilting and knitting [beginner] and cutting and pasting and all that great stuff), an avid cook, an erstwhile gardener, a photographer, scrapbooker, a collector, I love to travel (on the rare occasion when the opportunity arises) and read (on the rare occasion when the opportunity arises) and try to make sense of the world (not getting too far with this). I work part-time as the admissions director at my son's school, having given up a lucrative, full-time career in financial services -- lots of money and a fancy-pants title on my business card, but no time for my family so it HAD to go.
