About Me
I married an Air Force officer and thought being a military wife would be my "calling". Then we started trying to have kids (unsuccessfully) and I thought sharing my experience in the world of infertility would be my "calling". Then we adopted our oldest daughter, and I thought sharing our experience in the world of adoption would be my "calling". Then we had two kids biologically and I thought sharing our story to parenthood would be my "calling". Then I became a surrogate, and thought sharing my experiences in the world of surrogacy would be my "calling." Then my husband and my daughter were both diagnosed with cancer, six months apart, and I thought sharing our experience through those trials would be my "calling". Now, I don't know. I don't think I have a "calling" as much as a lot of different things I feel passionately about, but none of which I'm actually doing anything with. I guess I'm just a flounder-er. A flounder-er with a blog. Scary combination.
