| Introduction | I am a journalist of 22 years, and an academic of seven years, currently based in Arusha/Tanzania, completing my PhD at the School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London) completion July 2013. I have 15 years in international and national work in media, facilitation, training, academic lecturing and management. This includes Communications/Management, advising the Rwandan, South African and Ethiopian Governments and lecturing at London, Birkbeck and Birmingham University. I have seventeen years experience as a broadcaster and journalist with BBC radio and tv, and Channel Four. I speak fluent Swahili, French and Spanish, average Italian. |
