| Introduction | This blog aims to make contact with distant cousins in order to share information but most importantly, photographs! Sharing them around seems to be the best way to make sure they survive natural disasters and losses from deceased estates - the photos you save, could be your own. Please make contact if you find a relative here, even if you feel the connection is tenuous or they lived before photography - it can be compelling to watch facial features repeat in successive generations. I am particularly interested in Victorian studio portraits, and early NZ shots, however distantly related. Sometimes even if not at all :) |
