Introduction This is not only a food blog, it's a blog of many things. But I do love food. I love how it tastes. I love how it smells. I love the history behind it. And I love the fact that some foods can heal. From cinnamon to sage - the medicinal properties of herbs and spices can help in aiding diabetes to broken hearts! Personally, I prefer eating healthily - no wheat, sugar or processed and oily foods. This is hard, especially coming from a background in patisserie and sometimes, well, I just have to splurge. There'll be some healthy recipes, and some not-so-healthy recipes. But either way, I love making cakes and I love giving them away. (Just as a side note, if I mention milk or yogurt in any of the recipes - it'll be full fat or whole! It's healthier and just tastes better. Same goes for butter. Butter... NOT MARGARINE. Butter is Better. Fact.) ...And I promise the photos will improve with time. Please eat and be merry!!
