Introduction	My name is Cheryl. I am a senior trainer in the Mammals department. I volunteered for a year before a job opened up 23 years ago and I have been here ever since. I have had the pleasure of working with dolphins, harbor porpoise, sea otters, sea lions and harbor seals and fur seals. I worked with Hoover the famous talking seal when he was alive. I have been training his grandson Chacoda to vocalize. He can say "How are you" and "Hey" and "Hi". The first marine mammal I ever trained was Guthrie a California Sea Lion who lived at the Neaq for many years. I have a wonderful job. It is always changing and challenging.
