Maximaphily allows one to exercise his creativity to create his own maxicards using postcards available in the market. .One uses his skill in the “construction” of a maxicard by blending a postage stamp harmoniously on a postcard tying by a postmark concordant in subject,place and time. Experience counts in the art of creating a perfect maxicard. Maximaphily is like other form of arts such as pottery, photography etc., you create your masterpiece, and treasure it in the process. The masterpiece is unique and it becomes a collectible sometimes later. I realise the importance of the creation of local maxicards , if no one is doing it diligently for that matter, the history of maximaphily in Malaysia may be a total blank.
