Introduction | Wife, mom, foster mom, sister, friend, writer, and student. Not necessarily in that order. |
Interests | Writing, singing, reading, watching movies, daydreaming, sudoku, camping with my kids and taking weekend getaways with my hubby...we just returned from Vegas where we saw Blue Man Group...Fantastic Show!! |
Favorite Movies | My Favorite Wife, The Sound of Music, Phantom of the Opera, Spiderman II, Shrek, Rat Race, Life is Beautiful, The Lion King, Toy Story and so many others that I could go on and on and on and on and on and... |
Favorite Music | I love Josh Groban! I really enjoy classical; Rachmoninoff, Thchaicovsky, Grieg...I also love Aerosmith...I know, it's a far cray from classical but I have varied tastes depending on my mood. I'm a sucker for a good love song and I have a soft spot for Howard Jones. I love James Blunt but really, James, your choice use of a certain questionable "word" isn't necessary. I think it detracts from the songs. I prefer the edited versions. I love Martina McBride, Faith Hill and Good 'ol Garth but mostly, I prefer the new stuff that my 14 year-old daughter listens too; All American Rejects, Nickelback, Panic at the Disco and many others that I could never pronounce or remember anyway. |
Favorite Books | These is my Words by Nancy Turner is a must read and a great addition to any library. The Robe is a classic that can be found at the library. I have a favorite Little Golden Book from when I was a kid. It's called The Little Mommy. It's out of print and I've found some on eBay for $100+...maybe someday I can afford to be frivolous and add it to my collection. I love David Baldacci and Nicholas Sparks. Erma Bombeck is my idol and inspiration and I hope someday I can be every bit as successful. |
Never mind the turtle. Don't you think you're sure to win?
