|Occupation||Prospective Reformed Baptist Pastor|
|Introduction||I am the minister at Bethel Evangelical Free Church, Hanley, Stoke on Trent. My connection to the Highlands is highly dubious, and relates to a direct ancestor some generations back on my mother's side - my family actually comes from Chesire. I have an inordinate interest in theological works of high quality and Reformed bent. An interest in history is the all-but-inevitable result of being the son of a history professor.|
|Interests||Books, More books, Church history, Cycling, Photograhy - especially of churches and chapels|
|Favorite Movies||The Incredibles, Battlestar Galactica (1970s), The Mask of Zorro, I Wake Up Screaming|
|Favorite Music||Jazz and swing, Bach Chorales|
|Favorite Books||Calvin's Institutes, The Works of B.B. Warfield, Alexander Whyte's works, Spurgeon's entire output, The Morning Watch, James Orr, J. Gresham Machen, The Free Presbyterian Magazine, Thomas M'Crie's Story of the Scottish Church, B.A. Ramsbottom's William Gadsby, The Scots Worthies, The Legion of Super Heroes|
Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
I wear shirts with collars. And I wear a beard of the large 'Spurgeon' variety.
