The New Parent

About Me

In 2004 my wife and I adopted our daughter. She was just 10 months old, with lovely round cheeks, tulip lips, a shaven head, severely limited motor skills, a respiratory infection and eyes that sparkled so gloriously they could melt the coldest heart. We would hold her gently in our arms and she would snuggle into our shoulders leaving them totally wet from her uncontrollable drooling. She was beautiful. We would look at her and think: what will our legacy be to her? So, as the learning unfolds with my daughter and new techniques become apparent to me, I'll share those thoughts with you. At the same time, I look forward to hearing your thoughts about life with your kids.
