About Me
I'm a student at Columbia College Chicago. I write, I knit, I take pictures, I like to collage and shadow-box, also I like to do things I used to do when I was a kid, like make friendship bracelets. All art is interesting to me. As a writer, I find myself drawn to pieces that tell a story, but then again, I can find the simplest work as inspriring. I prefer modern art overall, and I am a sucker for mixed media, found objects in art (reuse, reduce, recycle), and other such line crossing ventures. If there was a piece of artwork that best exemplified me, it would be that word wheel of Dan Flavin's at the MCA in Chicago.
