| Introduction | I wanted to go into the dental field so I figured I needed straight teeth.I was constantly looking at pictures of girls with straight perfect teeth that were my age or even younger;this really got to me.About 15 months ago, January 2009, I went to my first orthodontist apt. The orthodontist said she could fix my teeth with invisilgn but it may not work completely.My front left tooth was turned very inward and i would most likely be getting brackets at the end of the deal:( That was EXACTLY what i wanted to avoid.The price came to 8500$ with a 2000$ deposit so I decided to start saving. Something always came up and I needed my saving for something else so it started to take a lot longer than expected.At this point, if I would have gotten metal braces, I would be half way done. I got another opinion in January of 2010, for a cheaper quote, $3500.I started to do monthly payments of 150$ for 18 months.Let the "journey" begin. July 26th,2010 crowded upper and lower. |
