| Introduction | Jeffrey Berman is a screenwriter with 20 years of experience in the film and TV industry. He’s also an activist for the writing profession and a journalist promoting the craft amongst aspiring young talent. His first spec script was purchased by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard at Imagine Films. Since then he has written projects for Universal, Paramount and Walt Disney, as well as several independent film companies. His most recent script, YOUNG ROBIN HOOD, was optioned by Dreambig Entertainment. Jeffrey is creator and host of THE WRITE ENVIRONMENT, a compelling new TV series that goes backstage into the unseen world of the writer's room for an intimate one-on-one interview with some of Hollywood's most prolific writers. The first set of interviews includes, JOSS WHEDON writer of Buffy, Angel, and Dollhouse; DAMON LINDELOF of Lost. TIM KRING of Heroes. His credits include MISS ROMANCE, a romantic comedy optioned to Focus Films; THE POSTAL POLICE, a comedy for Disney Studios; MY NEW DAD, a family comedy sold to Universal for Bill Cosby Productions; WISHING, a comedy sold to Paramount with producer John Davis; THE TOURISTS and ON THE AIR, comedies sold to Imagine Films. |
