| Introduction | I was born in Philadelphia Quaker country and raised on an island in the Detroit river My Life has taken me to Baltimore for my BFA, New York City, Delaware, DC, Maine, New Jersey,Chicago and back again to Michigan. I am currently living in beautiful Western Michigan. I work in digital imagery, photography, pastels & mixed media. Color fuels my imagination and infuses my work, it conveys the emotion & content of my process & thoughts to my viewer in the most intuitive fashion that I know. I work with "found" photographic images & my own digital art in creating layered imagery in both the digital world & on canvas, paper or any other object. I strive for evocative, strong, sensual, personal yet Universal imagery & attempt to tap into the collective unconsciousness that lies at the core of our Being. |
