| Introduction | I studied History and Art at college. But I have always had a great love for fashion! I love the great trends, but I hate the poor quality of the construction. My collection of historical garments has made me very picky, as I know how real beautiful garments are made. I LOVE COUTURE! I moved to NYC last year to work on a book that I am writing on historical garment construction and how these garments influence today’s designs; an academic book. But what it means is that I troll the internet and stores to find the best designers out there that are really focused on the quality of their work; not on fast fashion that is in the dump heap next week. So that is what I will Blog about... great under the radar designers that are passionate about what they do and how it really shows with the great works of art they create... high fashion! Oh and I do currently work in fashion, so I know what I am talking about!
