| Introduction | I am an observer of life & people who enjoys capturing observations through the lens. I love to read about places & people far away; better yet, I love to experience said places & people firsthand. I love a home-cooked meal more than eating out, but the most simple meal shared in the company of treasured friends/family is better than a sumptuous one alone. I am enamored to the core with being outdoors in nature. I have a loud laugh, but I'm shy. I hug people I just meet as well as those I've known forever. I love to read & learn. I notice details, shadows, light. I am enamored by textures, touch, tastes. I'm free-spirited but like things to be in order. Ethnic foods make my mouth water. Music sets my heart alight. I am unabashedly in love with hammocks, trees, the sound of rain, flashes of lightening, picking berries, catching fireflies. I love how children look at life with such wide-eyed wonder. I am inspired by the wisdom of the elderly & melted by acts of selflessness. And of course, I adore taking pictures! It strikes me that we are fortunate, in that as human beings, we are gifted with the ability to create. I am thankful for this gift & endeavor to enjoy the journey. |
