Introduction I have been a teacher at GSA since 2003 when my family and I moved to Maine from Indiana. I was a Professor of Classics & Humanities at Earlham College, in Richmond, Indiana, from 1978 until 2003. (A great college! Ask me about it.) I earned a B.A. in Greek and a Ph.D. in Classics from Stanford University.
Favorite Books Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, everything by Plato, Jean Rhys's Wide Sargasso Sea, Flann O'Brien's Third Policeman, James Joyce's The Dead, Edith Wharton's House of Mirth, George Eliot's Middlemarch.
