| Introduction | James and Angie have been married since 1991 and are parents of three boys and one girl. They have learned that parenting 4 children is more like refereeing a football game than anything else, that short hair is better for the boys, that a girl can do anything a boy can, and that nightly baths are not optional. Since the birth of their daughter, James has seriously been thinking that arranged marriages are not a bad idea. Angie is trying to talk James out of that idea—no luck yet. The last time they went to Florida on vacation, they picked up a stray dog and brought him back home. They call him Max. They’re still wondering why they brought him back. James serves as Lead Pastor of Journey Christian Church in Midlothian, Virginia where he is responsible to ensure that the Journey family is well taught and well led. He does most of the preaching and is the primary communicator of Journey's mission, vision, and values. Journey is a "come as you are" church of messed up people for messed up people. He's been in ministry since 1989 and is a graduate of Cincinnati Christian University. |
