Introduction	I'm a homeschooling mom to two wonderful teenagers. Wife of 21 years to my bicycle sweetheart. We met on RAGBRAI, pedaling across the state of Iowa. I love old things and big splashes of cheery colors, so my favorite decorating style is "early Mary Engelbreit cute". I enjoy digging in the dirt and growing flowers, and hunting down old treasures at auctions and antique malls. I loved growing up in the suburbs of St. Louis and Dallas, but am also enjoying growing older in a fixer-upper farmhouse way out in the Midwestern countryside. I've always been a hopeless animal lover and here we have room for three Jersey milk cows, a horse, chickens, four barn cats, and . . . the queen of absolutely everything, our little house beagle, Adelaide. I like having books in every room, music and creativity in every day, and long summers set to a soundtrack of baseball on the radio.
