| Introduction | Dr. Muiz Murad specialises in Environmental Sustainable Development (ESD). He has a strong technical background in Mechanical Engineering having obtained a PhD from Swinburne University Australia. He currently serves as an academic and ESD practitioner with 10 years international experience as an ESD subject matter expert, having published extensively world wide. He is an alumnus of the Royal Military College (RMC) Malaysia and plays golf in his spare time, looking to improve on his 15 handicap. He is a long distance runner, having participated in three half marathon. During his spare time, Dr. Muiz strums his guitar and compose songs. He has currently composed over ten songs and is looking to produce his own single in the near future. He sings and writes his own lyrics. Apart from music, Dr. Muiz has a passion for creative writing. He has written more than 70 collective poems, short stories and lyrics. His first novel is due to finish by the end of 2010. He was recognised for his efforts and achievement by STAR newspaper profiling him in the STAR Malaysian Abroad in 2009. |
