About Me
I'm currently the Communications Director for the Consumer Federation of California - a bay area consumer rights organization. Prior to that, I was a political consultant and strategist specializing on a range of progressive issues and campaigns (esp. the environment). I received my Master's Degree in Communications criticism and theory (with a political focus) at San Diego State, and earned by BA in Communications theory at the University of California San Diego, with a focus on corporate hegemony, mass communications propaganda, media ownership and consolidation, and how all these factors relate to democracy and public perception.
