| Introduction | I am an oil painter living in Charleston, SC. I love to paint still life using traditional techniques to create images of quiet beauty.
All my work is painted from life using natural north light, giving the paintings a subtly-nuanced mystery. Even the simplest of objects can be profoundly beautiful. I want to take my viewers away from the stress of our every day, high tech lives and give them a moment to relax, and to find joy in the simple pleasures to be found around us.
