| Introduction | I moved to flower Mound from W Plano in May of 2004. At that time Williams was drilling wells on the Sam Wilson Site. My wife and I lived very normal quite lives out in W Flower Mound. The Well Drilling didn't bother or upset me back then. Then in Dec 2007, we started getting offers from different land men wanting to lease our mineral rights. We said no to the bunch of them. Then the Dr Bob Smith property leased it's mineral rights/property to a group and that left our neighborhood in the middle. They were going to drill regardless of what we did. So we put together a non-formal negotiating group of neighbors to work out a lease deal with Williams that was good for both us, and the environment. On September 27, 2008 is when we signed our lease. That's 4 and 1/2 years I lived here before I signed a lease. The implications that money has somehow clouded my judgement is completely unfounded. |
