About Me

I am a musicologist and am studying for my Ph.D. at Goldsmiths College, University of London. My principal research focus is on Polish and Hungarian music of the 1960s and its reception in Great Britain, but I have also published articles on Ian Wilson, and Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge, as well as recording and live reviews in Tempo; I have also lectured at Goldsmiths on National Identity in 20th-Century Music. I live in Muswell Hill, North London with my wife and a cantankerous cat. I work as a freelance editor.
