About me

Gender Female
Occupation Writer (Press and Publications as the day job, creative fiction any other time)
Location Liverpool
Introduction Aspiring writer, MA Creative Writing student, chick-lit and science fiction fan. Working on a novel and 'booked up' to the point of drowning in words, so taking some of them out of my mind and putting them here. But keeping in my mind the words of Sylvia Plath as I do: 'And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.'
Interests Reading, writing and running (sometimes away from the first two)
Favorite Books The Catcher in the Rye, Mother Night, The Bell Jar, The Bad Mother's Handbook, Rachel's Holiday, The Book Thief, Nineteen Eighty Four, The Life of Pi, Brave New World, The Raw Shark Texts, Lolita, Anna Karenina, Fifty Shades of Grey, Harry Potter, The Undomestic Goddess, Giving up on Ordinary, The Road Home, One Day, God is Dead, One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Life of Pi, My Oedipus Complex.
