| Introduction | I live in Indiana, but was born and grew up in NY and then lived in Atlanta for ten years before moving to the midwest. I have two terrific boys and a great husband. My boys are the source of my joy and angst, as it should be. My younger son has autism, and that fact has changed my life in every way possible. I am a full time mom but always keep my ears open for a job that will be flexible but fulfilling. I love to write, to read, and to run. I also love to be with my friends and family, and hope one day to retire to the beach, my favorite place in the whole world. I titled my blog Monotony and Miracles because I have found much of life to feel a bit monotonous but then there are miracles that come at the times when you need them most. Not to the extent of a blind person seeing again, but just the sort of miracle where something wonderful happens that makes you realize that life is, indeed, something to be treasured. |
