| Introduction | I am a strong believer in the value of mentoring and the benefits it can have for all parties that take part in it. This blog is an extension of some of the themes of a mentoring relationship. I hope it facilitates the means for all of us meet new people, share fresh ideas and perspectives on problems we all face as HR professionals, and continue our professional development together. It was prompted by the drawing to a close of my CIPD studies, during which I inadvertedely found myself being mentored and mentoring my peers through our discussions and debate. I also had a lot of fun meeting new people and drawing from their experienes across industries, both good and bad. However long this blog is running for that we are able to keep it light - why take ourselves seriously when we have to be so serious all the time in what we do? Either way, I hope you find it informative and enjoyable - let the mentoring commence! |
