| Introduction | I have an MBA from Thunderbird and a bachelors from Illinois. I met a lot of really great and smart people at these places. My real education comes from managing my family's small business. I like to think that I know everything and anything about running a business--but anyone who has run one knows that is simply impossible. *** *** *** *** In general, I believe in freedom. Economically I am a very conservative free-market thinker. I've considered getting a neck-tattoo that says "Laissez Faire"--that is a joke. When it comes to some social issues my belief in freedom lends me to side with some liberal people from time to time--such as gay marriage and the wasteful and ineffective war on drugs. In short, as long as you aren't harming someone else you should be able to do what you want -- whether it is carrying a gun on you or marrying someone of the same gender. If we respected the 10th Amendment (among others) and ended the Federal Reserve our country would be much better off. *** Finally, I love hearing and listening to other points of view. I prefer the challenge of convincing someone who might not agree with me why I am right. |
