| Introduction | I'm too young to feel old but I do. I've never really liked myself but I think I'm finally starting to. I write because if I don't put the words on paper they burn in me until I can't eat or sleep or think. I love lightening and rain, but only when it's warm, and I love snow, but only through the window. I'm poor and busy and tired but not as angry as I used to be. I just want some dirt to make a life on, the world at my fingertips, and someone who listens and who I am happy to listen to in response. |

| Favorite Music | I love jazz and most modern music that incorporates jazz or classical sounds. I like thoughtful lyrics paired with either a shocking beat or a good acoustic melody, and I'm a sucker for a meaningful lovesong. So... Flogging Molly, Janis Jopelin, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, really liking Adele. Hope Paul McDonald does something great now that he doesn't have to pander to the masses voting for American Idol. |
| Favorite Books | Too many to list, but why not try... Anything by Ted Dekker, Micheal Crichton, and Dean Koontz. Oh, and Garth Nix. Even if I haven't read it I'll promise you it's good. Blue Skin of the Sea, The Silver Kiss, Island of the Blue Dolphins, Every Woman a Witch, Eragon, The Catswold Portal, Crime and Punishment, Firestarter, Blue Like Jazz, Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Cat Who books, R.L. Stine still rocks, Down a Dark Hall, Sabriel, Lirael, Abhorsen, The Wheel of Time series, Black Beauty. More than any person I know the books I love have shaped who I am, how I define the world. Any book that can alter or add to that definition I love forever. And I have a soft spot for dark smut so Laurell K. Hamilton. She fits into the thought provoking category quite frequently too. |
