| Introduction | We are high school sweethearts, best friends, soul mates, husband and wife, and all of the other mushy things that come with being madly in love for 14 years! We are also Christians who believe in God's plan....yes I said God's, not ours, which is something we have come to learn and embrace! Five years ago we decided that starting a family was one of our biggest desires...little did we know it would also become one of our biggest challenges. After facing and overcoming many struggles, challenges, failures, heartbreaks, and a great deal of sadness we decided that maybe God had a different plan for us. With much prayer we began our journey to adopt. God answered our prayers and guided our hearts all the way to St. Petersburg, Russia where our sweet baby boy awaited us! Here we are many, many months after it all began with our journey complete (for now anyway!)! We did it.....little by little, inch by inch! This is our forever family!!! |
