About Me

I've been involved in Florida's space efforts since the late 1980s when I served as a space industry economist in the Florida Department of Commerce. I left Tallahassee in 1990 to help establish the Spaceport Florida Authority (click HERE for a short history) as the nation's first space transportation authority. I left SFA in 2001 to become the Director of Policy & Program Development at the Florida Space Research Institute, until FSRI was dissolved to make way for Space Florida in 2006. I now am a Space Policy Analyst at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with offices at the Cape Canaveral Spaceport.
