| Introduction | I'm a quilter, love everything about this great craft. I've been quilting since I was just a little girl, blessed to have both of my grandmothers influence and teaching to start me on my way. The first quilt that I remember working on was a Grandmother's Flower Garden. My maternal grandmother, Fanny, helped me get started, I was around 7 or 8 years old. I still have that work, never did finish the quilt though. My maternal grandmother, Dot, often had a quilt in the frame when I was a little girl. I spent many wonderful hours playing under that quilt frame, in my world of imagination. And I was so blessed as I grew a bit older to have her teach me the fine art of hand quilting. Today, I still love hand work, but also love the convenience of today's modern techniques. This is a place for me to share the love of quilting with you! |
