Introduction | Just me |
Interests | Like, you can't guess? My son, and now my Daughter-in-Fun and my Grandchild!! |
Favorite Movies | Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Birdcage, LeMiserable, The Magnificient Seven (One of my favorite lines/scene is when the Mexican responds to Steve McQueen's character "You could make much more in a grocery store. And it would be good, steady work." And then McQueen's character Vin Tanner... desires their job rather than the monotonous clerk.) |
Favorite Music | Chopin, Cher, Celine Dion, Bob Segar, Boston, and in keeping with first letter alliteration ... Beatles, sometimes. |
Favorite Books | Colette Peter's Wedding Cakes, 1421: The Year China Discovered America. Also one of my fav's is a book my son gave me entitled: A Woman of Passion. It is a historical fiction based on the true story of Elizabeth Hardwick a commoner who became lady-in-waiting to Queen Elizabeth. |
What's the best time you've ever had licking stamps?
The random question given me to answer is "What's the best time you've ever had licking stamps?" My answer is the time I figured out that I could just brush them with water and avoid the chapped lips. Now a days, they make stamps with self-adhesive backing... So if I"m going to lick stamps ...it should be for beautiful occasions instead of bills. (If one continues to use checks and the mail.)
