Introduction Artist and writer. Oscar Laurens Schrover studied from 1973–1978 at the Royal Academy for Art and Design, ' s-Hertogenbosch, and from 1980 until 1982 – after completing military service – with a Danish Government Scholarship for postgraduate studies, at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, School of Printmaking. Exhibited prints a.o. in Denmark, Holland, United Kingdom, Russia, Japan, India, the USA, Macedonia and Poland. Works to be found in several printcollections, a.o. the Museum of Religious Art in Uden, the Netherlands; Kanagawa's Prefectural Gallery, Japan; Karelian Museum, Russia; the Poraankar Museum, India, and the Bijbels Museum, Amsterdam. Wrote articles about art, culture and spirituality. Translated, with Robbert Stephan Schrover, the book The Eye Aware, (Jeroen Witkam); the Anointed, a kabbalistic novel; and School of the Soul by by Z'ev ben Shimon Halevi. Bookdesigner and publisher. Currently designing books, a.o. for Amphora Press, Amsterdam, a small Jewish publication firm. Translator, editor and advisor to individual, professional bookprojects.
