| Introduction | Stockholm based since 2012, Roxana is a passionate artist and an abstract painter. She worked for many years as a graphic designer. She is instinctively drawn to abstraction in art because of the freedom it implies. She works intuitively and spontaneously. She prefers to let the process of creation itself to direct to the finished form of the work. The creative process starts by applying colors in a different ways, create textures and form new shapes on canvas. Finally, she is refining these shapes in order to bring more movement and energy on each canvas. Continuing to push the boundaries, Roxana’s work on canvas is innovative and highly experimental. No artwork can be reproduced identically due to the difficulty of the medium. The entire process is challenging and often unpredictable yet very satisfying. She’s more attracted to paint on the big canvases due to the fact these pieces have the higher impact on the viewer, who will be blown away by the vibrant colors and by the positive energy. |
