She has held New Mexico licenses as a Professional Clinical Counsellor, school psychology, school counseling, teaching of modern languages, and teaching of English as a second language. As a writer, Dr. Sonna has authored twelve parenting books and wrote a nationally syndicated column for ten years, Her poems and essays have appeared in a variety of literary journals. Dr. Sonna is a professor of Counseling Psychology at Yorkville University, a distance master's program headquartered in Canada, for which she develops and teaches the Multicultural Counselling and the Master's Case Presentation courses. |
