| Introduction | I am a chiropractic physician and a certified acupuncturist. I grew up in St. Charles, IL and graduated from St. Charles high school. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Illinois–Champaign/Urbana in 1999. In 2002, I attained my Doctorate of Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences. I also completed post-graduate studies to become a certified acupuncturist. I have been in practice at AcuCare Chiropractic since January of 2003. *DISCLAIMER* Please use this blog as an informal health forum. Although I am a physician, I am not an expert in all the health-related topics on this blog. I will do my best to give objective information from legitimate sources, but some of the information will be based on my thoughts and opinions from my own schooling, practice, and experiences. | Interests | In my free time, I love spending time with my wife and son. I also enjoy staying active with soccer, ice hockey, golf, basketball, working out, and any outdoor activities. I completed the Chicago marathon in 2002 and 2005. My wife, Dawn, and I also enjoy doing triathlons. I attend various seminars (nutrition, detoxification, female hormone issues, natural fertility, etc.) We are currently on profile with an adoption agency (www.sunnyridge.org) and waiting to adopt another child! |
