| Introduction | I love digging up interesting things that happened in the past and writing about them. The truth is, the best part comes before the writing. That's when I have the most fun as a research geek. Teddy Roosevelt used that elephant foot for WHAT? Joe Louis won a championship fight in HOW MANY minutes? This stuff is too good to be true. Oh, wait a minute.... I've always wondered what it would be like to be part of a community of top notch nonfiction writers who share the same love of learning, exploring and creating as I do. In the past, I kept thinking of the Woody Allen quote (who was quoting Groucho Marx) when he said, "I would never want to belong to any club who would have someone like me as a member."
