| Introduction | I am a mother. I'm a young, heart attack survivor, also suffering from chronic pain for 10 years (several surgeries to date and now have an implanted spinal cord stimulator). I was a runner in my former life and miss it dearly. It is bittersweet to find others who are going through or have gone through the same physical problems; I find solace in reading their comments/blogs. |
| Interests | Life consists of trying to get back to "normal"; enjoyment in simple things such as hanging laundry on our clothesline in the sunshine, growing fruits and vegetables in the backyard of our ranch-style home, snapping photos, sewing, and dusting off my cookbooks. Four cats and a crazy golden retriever make this home-sweet-home. This is how we have fun & create memories. I'm fortunate to live in a mild climate where I've spent my time outside hiking, cycling, running (x-country/trail) and camping in the past; I want that back. |
