About me

Location Central Kentucky, United States
Introduction I earned my Meteorology/Climatology degree at Western Kentucky University with a minor in Broadcasting. I served as Chief Forecaster for Newschannel 12, the student newcast, broadcast LIVE to the Bowling Green, KY area. We won first place nationally for our newscast my junior year. I was on live during the great Bowling Green supercell of April 1998 that caused $512 million in damage. I've been through severe ice storms, snow storms, hail storms, you name it and have reported on all of the conditions Kentuckians face. I hope to use this blog in my spare time to share some thoughts with you about the upcoming patterns or severe weather outbreaks that may occur. If you have questions about Kentucky weather, shoot me an e-mail. As Ben Franklin said, "There are people who are weatherwise, and those who are otherwise."
