| Introduction | Sunlit Letterpress is owned and operated by Erin McCall, a graphic designer who fell in love with letterpress early in her design career after reading an article about the dying art. Erin studied letterpress at the Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design under the late Jim Rimmer - renowned Canadian letterpress master printer, type designer, type founder, and illustrator. Erin uses vintage printing presses from the late 1800s and early 1900s to craft each piece of stationery by hand. When Erin is not operating the press (or cleaning ink of her fingers!) you will find her designing everything from custom letterpress wedding invitations to letterpress business cards, and spending time with her husband, daughters, and studio supervisor Koli the boxer dog. |
