Andre recently received his Ph.D. from Stanford University. He completed his thesis on population structure and habitat utilization of bluefin tunas. Andre is currently working in Dr. Pat Halpin's lab at Duke University where he is continuing his research on bluefin tuna as well as performing bycatch research as part of the GLOBAL bycatch assessment project.
